Music’s biggest night of the year takes place on Feb. 10, so it’s time to take a peak at the riveting reasons to tune into the 2013 Grammy Awards. From magical musical match-ups to Justin Timberlake's return to the Grammy stage, there’s something for everyone. Below are the top six reasons to tune in and catch all the G-R-A-M-M-Y action.
G:
Grammy Performers. The 2013 Grammy Awards is loaded with powerhouse performers from the world of music. In 2013, the following artists will perform: Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Sting, Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, The Black Keys, Fun, The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, Carrie Underwood, Jack White, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, and Justin Timberlake. The Black Keys, Fun, the Lumineers, Ocean, and Sheeran will perform on the Grammy telecast for the first time. Taylor Swift is set to open the 2013 Grammys.

Remembering Levon Helm. Music legend Levon Helm died last April, but his memory will live on at the 2013 Grammys. Elton John, the Zac Brown Band, Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran, Brittany Howard, T. Bone Burnett and Mavis Staples will join together for a moving in-memoriam segment to honor Helm, a multiple Grammy winner, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, impresario, studio owner, studio engineer, and producer. He was also the longtime drummer for The Band and wore many musical hats throughout his long and storied career. His final album “The Midnight Ramble Sessions, Vol. 3” was released in December, eight months after Helm’s death. Elton John and company will perform two songs: “The Weight” and “The A Team” in honor of Levon Helm.

All-Star Fashions. Face it. Music reigns, but risqué fashions often take center stage at the Grammy Awards, and anything goes. Be sure to catch all the red carpet arrivals on TV Guide Network with Chris Harrison from “The Bachelor” as he interviews the superstars before they enter the Staples Center. The pre-show action airs from 7-8 p.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 10 on TV Guide Network. So, who will hit a high note and who will miss the mark? Magical Musical Match-ups. One of the best things about tuning into the Grammys is watching the odd, but magical match-ups from the world of music. For the 2013 Grammy Awards, the following artists will collaborate and perform together: Travis Barker, Chuck D, LL Cool J, Tom Moerllo and DJ Z-Trip; Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert; Stanley Clarke, Chick Corea and Kenny Garrett in a tribute to Dave Brubeck; Dr. John and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band with the Black Keys; Elton John and Ed Sheeran; Alicia Keys and Maroon 5; Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Sting.

Most-Anticipated Performances and Presenters. One of the most highly anticipated performers at the 2013 Grammy Awards is Justin Timberlake. He’s suiting up and hitting the Grammy’s stage for the first time in four years. The most talked about collaboration is the Bruno Mars, Sting and Rihanna trio. It’s definitely an odd pairing, but one fans don’t want to miss. Surprisingly, Justin Bieber and Beyonce will not perform at this year’s Grammys. In fact, Justin was not even nominated and Beyonce, fresh off her Super Bowl victory, is simply presenting. Frank Ocean, Mumford & Sons, Fun, Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, Jay-Z and Kanye West all have six Grammy nominations each. LL Cool J is back for a second time hosting the Grammys.

Year of the Pop Artist. The spectrum of this year's pop nominations spans first-time nominations to Grammy-winning veterans. Four of this year's artists - Kelly Clarkson, Fun, Florence & The Machine, and Maroon 5 - each received two nominations in the pop field. Following her record total of six Grammy wins last year, Adele looks to win her ninth career statue. Fun, Carly Rae Jepsen, Gotye, Kimbra, and Arun Shenoy are all first-time nominees. Returning nominees looking for their first taste of Grammy gold are Gerald Albright, Chris Botti, Florence & The Machine, Dave Koz, LMFAO, and Katy Perry.
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will take place live on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high definition and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. EST and PST. The show also will be covered online at Grammy.com and CBS.com.
