Activision and Infinity Ward have officially announced on April 15 that six personalization packs for Call of Duty: Ghosts are in the works.
The DLC's include six new styles of weapon camouflage along with a Soap: Legend Pack, Classic "Ghost" Pack, and a Squad Pack for the Extinction game. The weapon camouflage includes a verity of offbeat options while the Legends pack allows gamers to play as Soap MacTavish and Ghost from Modern Warfare 2.
Also available will be a Drill Instructor Voice Pack and the Snoop Dogg Voice Pack which replaces the multiplayer announcers voice with that of either Snopp Dogg or R. Lee Ermey.
Each voice actor is expected to add their own presence to the multiplayer experiences while using some of their iconic catchphrases. For example; some of the dialogue Snoop Dogg will use includes "Squad member active: A brother from another mother" and "Homies out the joint. It's party time."
The DLC packs will be released on April 22 for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One version. Each of the packs will be sold separately for $2.99.
No official confirmation has been made regarding a release for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is the tenth game in the popular series that has sold over 100 million copies and on average has 40 million active players a month. The game has players take on the role as operatives of the Ghosts as they wage a war against the Federation in an attempt to defend America's sovereignty.
The first map pack DLC, Onslaught, was released on January 28 while the second DLC, Devastation, was released on April 3.
