A Hollywood party this past weekend (February 11-12) left four men and two women shot, as someone grew trigger-happy at a banquet hall on Sunset Boulevard.
The open fire incident occurred at 1:50a.m. on the 5200 block of Sunset where four of the victims were rushed to the hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
Tim Jenneman of the Hollywood Station said a party was being held in the Vatican Banquet at 5214 Sunset Blvd. He further mentioned that the shooting was over a dispute where someone then pulled out a handgun. “Four males and two females received non-life-threatening wounds.”
Five out of the six injured were shot in the legs and feet, and a graze wounded another woman to her head.
There was no mention of immediate arrests.
To help identify the gunman, detectives were working to obtain recorded video from the night of the incident at the banquet hall.
