Glen Campbell with the Band Perry and Blake Shelton
The 2012 Grammys is set to feature some dynamic pairings, including a hot country music performance by legend Glen Campbell with contemporary artists The Band Perry and Blake Shelton. "This feels like a pinnacle moment for us - to perform with an icon on the Grammy Awards is an honor," says Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry on their official website. Glen Campbell, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s and is currently on a farewell tour, will receive a Lifetime Achievement during the 2012 Grammys.

Return of a Host
For the last seven years, the Grammy Awards has aired without an official host. Instead, a string of presenters moved the ceremony along. The year 2012 marks the return of the host and LL Cool J has been tapped for the festivities. During a recent interview for ET Online, the 44-year-old rapper revealed that he just wants to have fun, but doesn’t want to be the focus of the show. He promises to bring his own personality to the stage so that he won't be compared to hosts before him. "Hopefully people will enjoy the show," he told ET.
A:
Adele – Queen of the Night
All eyes will be on Adele, who is set to make her triumphant return to the stage following surgery on her vocal cords. The powerhouse recording artist is nominated for a total of six Grammys, including nominations for Album of the Year and Song of the Year. The British soul singer broke records with her breakthrough second album "21," including the hits "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You." It is unclear what she will sing Sunday night at the Staples Center. However, there’s no doubt that Adele will be Queen of the Night at the 2012 Grammys.

Magical Musical Match-ups
One of the best things about tuning into the Grammys is watching the odd, but magical match-ups from the world of music. For the 2012 Grammy Awards, the following artists will perform together: Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson; the Beach Boys with Foster The People and Maroon 5; Tony Bennett and Carrie Underwood; Chris Brown with Deadmau5, Foo Fighters, David Guetta and Lil Wayne; Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt; and Rihanna and Coldplay.

McCartney Hits the Stage.
Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney will perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards and his fans couldn’t be happier. McCartney has been on a winning streak lately. He recently drew several hundred fans when his star was unveiled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Plus, McCartney was just named the 2012 MusiCares Person of the Year. Paul McCartney will perform a song from his new album “Kisses on the Bottom,” which was released nationwide on February 7th.

Year of the Comeback
The 2012 Grammy Awards will mark the year of the comeback for The Beach Boys, who are performing on stage for the first time in two decades. The original members of the band, famous for hits including "Good Vibrations," "California Girls" and "Surfin' USA," will play with two Grammy nominees, Foster The People and Maroon 5. "I miss the boys and it will be a thrill for me to make a new record and be on stage with them again," core band member Brian Wilson said upon announcing the reunion in December.
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will take place live on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high definition and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The show also will be covered online at Grammy.com and CBS.com, and on YouTube. A total of 78 awards will be presented following the Academy's decision to restructure the categories.
