I wanted to write today to let you all know about a great partnership between Six Flags Theme Parks and Discovery Education. They are offering a free ticket to each child in grades K-6 who read for 6 hours (or for younger readers the parent can read to them also). They also give one free ticket to the homeschool parent. At the link below you will find all the forms that need to be filled out and a FAQ section.

You will need to register to participate and then also track how many hours your child has read and make sure to mark it on the appropriate reading log. This continues until March 1, 2012 at which time the information will be submitted to the department issuing the tickets. You also have to mail the children's reading logs by March 9, 2012 to receive the ticket(s).
