Six Flags Great America welcomes guests to opening weekend with a special ticket price when the park opens this weekend, May 3-4, 2014.
Kicking off the 39th season of fun at Six Flags Great America is a special ticket price of $20.14 for admission on opening weekend Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4. Tickets may be purchased on the Six Flags website.
Six Flags will be open weekends only until May 14, when the park will be open daily.
On Memorial Day Weekend, Great America kicks off the unofficial start to summer with the opening of Hurricane Harbor water park, plus festival activities in the theme park and a fireworks show on Saturday and Sunday!
This year Six Flags is launching Goliath, the world’s fastest wooden roller coaster with the tallest and steepest drop.
Special events this season include Grad Nite on May 17, Teen Truth Anti-Bullying Event on May 21; Memorial Day Weekend May 24-25; July 4th Fest on July 4-6; and Coaster Fest on Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 30-31.
The park is also celebrating the anniversaries of attractions, including the Mardi Gras area (10 years), Raging Bull (15 years), Condor (25 years) and Roaring Rapids (30 years).
