Six Flags Fright Fest returns with zombies, vampires and haunted mazes

You don't have to wait for Halloween night to get the thrills of a haunted house.  Six Flags St. Louis is preparing a bone-chilling creepfest that will spook even those with the thickest skin.  Fright Fest returns October 7, 2011 and runs through October 30th.

During Fright Fest, the Six Flags amusement park is turned into a chaotic epicenter for zombies, trolls, sinister clowns, phantoms, witches, vampires and of course, many stressed out and freaked out patrons like yourself.   If you think you're brave, get some kind of sick thrill out of hearing people (including yourself) scream, you've got a thing for getting the blood drained right out of your heart every other minute or you're a zombie yourself, Fright Fest is the place to be this October.

As you wander around the park, danger lurks at every turn.   You may think you're there to get a few thrills on the roller coasters and other rides, but before you can reach your destination, creatures will be coming for you.  Lots and lots of creatures.  If you're one of the lucky ones who makes it to the Screamin' Eagle, Superman Tower of Power or Batman: The Ride don't start feeling too sure of yourself.  You never know who - or what, might pop up in that seat behind you.  And once the ride begins, there's no way of escape.

Still not scared?  Still thinking of getting a group of friends together and creating some memories that you'll later be promising each other that you'll take to your graves?  If so and you're over 13 and agree to enter the park mask-free, check out the Six Flags calendar and grab your dates before something grabs you.
