Even with the "Duck Dynasty" controversial character, Phil Robertson being put on an indeterminate hiatus, and then brought back to the show, the family is not being alienated like Paula Deen was. In fact, members of the popular TV reality show have an invitation to speak at a North Houston Christian school. The "Duck Dynasty" cast members who will be at the Champion Forest Baptist Church for "Dynasty Forever” are Willie, Korie, Sadie, John Luke, Alan, and Lisa.

Principal Dan Woods said that they want the Robertsons to come because they believe in generational thinking, and they are a close knit family. Principle Woods is not worried on what the members of "Duck Dynasty"will say. It is still fresh in everyone's mind of the comments that Phil said during a GQ interview. Principle Woods said, "We know that the comments made are not something that everyone believes, we want to respect everybody and we think that they will respect everybody."

Phil is not scheduled to attend this event with the other family members. The Northland school does teach that they believe marriage should be between one man and one woman. .

The “Dynasty Forever event will be held at the Champion Forest Baptist Church at 15555 Stuebner Airline Road on March 22, 2014.

The tickets prices to attend this event are between $35 and $200. You can also buy a sponsorship. They will have a silent auction and some lucky bidder will have an evening with the Robertson family. Right now, the bids have exceeded $2000.
