"Six Books to Help You Love More!" (Blog 1 out of 3)

Hi all,

After getting breast cancer I committed to writing a 22 book legacy with books to 'inspire people to love more.' I've now completed 18 out of 22 books ranging from fiction to non-fiction and children's books. I have 4 books to go! The topics range from dating, spirituality, cancer, healing, name it but they all help the reader move from fear to love in some way.

It's surprised me how messages just flow and it feels so good to put them out there. I hope this blog inspires you to do whatever creative act or dream you've been waiting on. Just expressing yourself feels great and it may help or inspire someone else, even after you're gone. We are all connected and our experiences are universal and healing. So, share your gifts today!

I've only had time to write these books and put them up on Amazon. So, I thought I would post three blogs with six books each (so as not to overwhelm you) but to update you on what I've been doing. I haven't bothered to ask friends, family or readers for reviews in the process but if any of you do get these books and want to write a review, I'd be grateful!:)

Book #1Dating from the Inside Out: How to Use the Law of Attraction in Matters of The Heart

I wrote this book to help singles get out of their own way in finding love. In Dating from the Inside Out I describe how we create our own love psychology through our thoughts, beliefs, history, emotions and actions. We can become more conscious about what is no longer serving us and create a new vision that will attract the love we want. This book presents exercises and case examples to help you do so.

“This book distills the wisdom of a hundred years of psychology to its most essential and practical basics: Understand your past to better control your dating future. Its techniques are clear, sensible, and revealing.” –
Barry J. Jacobs, Psy.D., author of The Emotional Survival Guide for Caregivers

“Dating From the Inside Out is a rare combination of sophisticated psychology, humanistic spirituality, and practical instruction for those seeking fulfillment in partnership. The wonderful surprise about Dr. Sherman’s book is that it’s not just for singles! It is equally a welcome refresher course for those looking to reinvigorate their relationships by creating new communication patterns that support loving and healthful interactions.”—
Dr. Faith Bethelard, coauthor of Cherishment: A Psychology of the Heart

Bravo for Paulette! She gives the Law of Attraction and Manifesting a Partner a real boost in relationship resonance for us Mars Women!

-- Jackie Lapin, author of the award-winning, bestseller Practical Conscious Creation: Daily Tips to Manifest Your Desires,

“If you’re an independent, strong, passionate woman, you are meant to have a great life and you know it. This book will give you permission to claim who you really are, and create a love relationship that celebrates your highest strength and offers you the highest happiness.”

Tama Kieves, bestselling author of This Time I Dance! Creating the Work You Love

This book was inspired by single successful career women who were dating and wanted to meet a man who would support their dreams. Dr. Sherman worked with these women in psychotherapy and coaching, plus she was one of them when she dated, so she knows the issues they face!

Single career women can be independent and strong on dates and still find the man of their dreams. Book #3 – The Cancer Path: A Spiritual Journey to Wholeness, Healing & Love
(Volume 2 in a 4-book Cancer Path Series)

Volume 2- The Cancer Path: A Spiritual Journey Through Healing, Wholeness & Love approaches cancer on a level deeper, as a spiritual initiation. It allows you to heal cancer from the inside-out by giving you tools to address healing your mind, body, emotions, and Spirit as you go through your traditional treatment. If you are like me, you may not want to be a passive recipient of healing. You may want to take action and create a year of treatment that leads to greater wholeness and health on all levels. I read over 60 books so that I could address these four levels of healing for you, as well as explore many discrepant issues such as diet, how your immune system affects cancer, whether emotions, thoughts and stress affect cancer, and so forth. This book is for the cancer patient who wants to do serious inner work and learn spiritual lessons along this path so she will be changed as a spiritual initiate.

Dr. Sherman’s book, ‘The Cancer Path: A Spiritual Journey Into Healing, Wholeness & Love‘ was the Award-Winning Finalist in the Health/Cancer category in the 2013 USA Best Book Awards, sponsored by USA Book News.

Book #4 – A Shared Vision: 100 Conversations to Co-Create the Lives of Your Dreams

Book #4 was inspired by singles who were dating and want to choose a partner aligned with their vision, values and goals. Often during dating, people are on their best behavior and they try to do everything they can to please their potential mate and not to rock the boat. Making a good first impression is important but in the end, you will be spending your life with someone so you need to be authentic! We wonder why 50% of marriages end in divorce and a third of the couples that remain married are unhappy. This is because people are not honestly communicating and working together on consciously creating their relationship.

This 100 conversation guide in 20 life areas helps couples co-create the relationship of their dreams! Often one partner dreads talking because heavy handed monologues can turn to blaming, shaming, debating or complaining.
‘A Shared Vision’ facilitates fun, inspirational exchanges between couples, giving these conversations a positive context. Partners can share important issues, problem-solve and create shared solutions to invent a life worth living, together. It's for couples thinking about that ‘next step,’ who want to create a solid foundation of knowing each other first and getting on the same page.
It‘s also for married couples who’ve lost their passion and want to re-invent the life of their dreams together, infusing their relationship with more synergy and direction.
This a workbook where each person has space to write and record their dreams and desires. You can return to it together years later and revise what you wrote. At the end of the book, there is an exercise to create a collage or vision that represents what your life will be like together in the future. You can hang it above your bed to inspire you.

Book #5 – 100 Ways to Treat Your Mate Like Royalty:
Under $10

BOOK DESCRIPTION: BOOK #5 was inspired by Dr. Sherman’s work with singles and couples during this strained economy. Singles and couples were working more, had less money and energy and were saying that they couldn’t afford romance and dates to strengthen and prioritize their relationship. Dr. Sherman (aka Dr. Date) loves romance and knew that creating love did not require a dollar value. Love and romance only requires an open heart, creativity and thoughtfulness.

When Dr. Sherman first dated her husband they were both starting out in the mental health field and they went on lots of free and inexpensive dates. This was a very happy time, so she knew it was possible.

This book offers 100 ways to treat your mate/date like royalty under $10 (whether you are dating, in a long-term relationship or married). It reminds you to nurture your relationship and have fun together no matter what’s happening in your lives. It’s so important! Your relationship is the foundation for your family and a place you can return to and refuel.

This book is also a great keepsake and photo album. Under each romantic suggestion there is room for you to paste a snapshot of that day or memory, as a couple. So for example, you can put a photograph of the two of you having a picnic on the beach and the date. At the end of a year you will have proof of how very romantic you are!

Don’t wait for Valentine’s Day or your anniversary to show your significant other love. This book will make it easy and cheap to demonstrate affection daily and it will get you in a mind set to discover your own creative romantic ideas going forward.
