Sisters In Motion is a fitness group that functions nationwide promoting wellness and community for all women. On October 02, 2013, which is Thursday, the group is sponsoring an informational event that is open to the public. 7pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 2945 NW Expressway, in North Oklahoma City, 73112. This is between North May Avenue and North Independence Avenue. ( Founders Tower is closest, and Integris Baptist is across the street).
The OKC chapter, as with all Sisters In Motion groups has a core membership process, but has meet-up groups here and in other cities that allow the member to connect electronically for specific exercise and support opportunities.Women of all ages and all walks of life convene to learn more about fitness and live lives of preventative wellness within this group.
Participants mingle with members and staff of Sisters In Motion and will see demonstrations Thursday night, including preparation of a new recipe by an advanced member of the national organization who is visiting that evening. Many community leaders have been invited as well.
Wellness practices and community building continue to be core goals for the City of Oklahoma City , and Ms. Freeney's Sisters In Motion OKC is a prime example of success with both.
