'Sister Wives' ruling: Living as polygamists now legal in Utah

In news today, "Sister Wives" star Kody Brown is rejoicing. On Dec. 13, the family's lawyer Jonathan Turley went to his blog to explain that they won their lawsuit and polygamy is now legal in Utah. This is a huge and will allow polygamy families to not live in fear now.

United States District Court judge Clarke Waddoups was able to agree that some parts of the Utah polygamy law was unconstitutional. They just wanted the right to live how they choose to live. If you remember, Kody is only legally married to one woman but chooses to consider the other women his wives. You can still not have a marriage license with more than one woman.

Kody Brown and his wives have been threatened and even forced to move out of Utah. It was hard for this family to come public, but it was all worth it to get this law changed and make a better future for everyone in the same religion as them.
