Sirius XM subscription rate hike could be on the horizon

Howard Stern Show fans may be facing another Sirius XM rate hike in 2011.

The merger deal between Sirius and XM included a provision guaranteeing there would be no subscription rate hikes for three years after the merger. The three year anniversary of the merger comes on July 28, 2011 and Sirius XM has requested that the FCC take "no steps" to keep the rate freeze in place.
