Siri is now a malfunction and no longer a useful app

I have some sad news to relate to all you iPhone users out there…

Siri, the service and application that we all have really grown to appreciate and enjoy in our Apple products, is apparently suffered a massive hemorrhage and is now seriously "brain damaged". You heard me right! She can no longer function properly.

If you thought the HAL 9000 went nuts in 2010, Siri has set a new level of standard in that department!

It all started with that Botox injection she got, in her lips, to try and make her voice sound younger and less like an ex-smoker! Siri used to sound older. And while that became the source of complaints from users, now I'd prefer to go back to "her" as her "daughter" (younger sounding) is not near as smart or efficient. In fact, the daughter Siri has absolutely NO sense of humor at all! None!

She has lost her sense of humor, her resourcefulness, her reliability, and her efficiency. The list of things that she now cannot do, is growing larger with each and every passing day. She no longer functions satisfactorily as an artificial life form.

Today, when I told Siri to call my wife at work, she says "I don't know who your wife is, and for that matter I don't know who you are!" Seriously? I've had this iPhone for almost 2 years!

I really miss Steve Jobs!
He knew how to bring "excellence" out of the Apple products. Now, it is my ever-growing concern that the excellence and performance of our Apple products may be losing their performance and capabilities that we have grown to expect from an Apple device, and that maybe ... just maybe, those levels of excellence were all lost with Steve.
