Kelly Green [USA liaison & radio host] from Southern California, a single mother with a 12 year old child on the autism spectrum; an enthusiastic individual who in 2010 single handedly spread the word to people, communities and media about this history making event. She first heard about the Naturally Autistic ANCA organization through social media networking and a facebook page - ‘Artists and Autism’. With a background in art design for window painting and chalk art festivals, she rallied, communicated and connected her local community to get involved. With her high energy and positive exuberance she expels Kelly has connected autistic individuals, families, local and international businesses and television media to participate. Her love of the autistic community is ‘catching’ and is truly embodied in her desire to see ‘acceptance’ for those she has encountered. 2010 and 2011 events’ successes are very much an outcome of Kelly Green spreading the word! Many nominees and award recipients from the USA and other countries are as a result of Kelly Green’s networking. She is one of those hidden heroes deserving of recognition for her tireless efforts!
