Singing, dancing, and theatre classes available now at South Shore Conservatory

In the bitter cold, take comfort that Spring is only a few short weeks away! South Shore Conservatory is thrilled to awaken young minds for another semester and has opened registration for Spring classes! A wealth of new music and theatre classes are on the roster for children of all ages and there are classes offered just in time for February vacation! Visit for a full list of classes available.

New to this semester’s roster is an interactive class designed for music beginners called ‘Understanding Music’ for children ages 8 through 10. Learn about the basics of violin with "Intro to Violin" and "Fid-o-lin with Friends!" Be inspired to compose some wonderful music with "Songwriters’ and Composers’ Society" designed for ages 12 and up.

Kids learn about musical instruments, singing, dancing, theatrical play, and exercise into with SS Creative Seeds program for early childhood ages 0 through 9.

Children will learn rhythms and about music instruments through classes such as “Music Together” designed infants through four years old as well as "Drum and Sing" for ages four through six. Several dance and movement classes are available such as “Move and Groove Music Therapy” group for ages four through 11, “Create, Point, and Flex” for ages three through six, “Hip-Hop for Boys” ages four through six, “Girls Groove” for ages four through seven, as well as ballet classes offered by the Jose Matteo Ballet Theatre for ages three through nine. Children also learn about singing through “Primo Voice Class” for ages seven through nine.
