Since releasing 2010’s Waiting, Singer-Songwriter and Hot Springs, Arkansas native Christine DeMeo has been busy performing at various venues around the state while recording new material for her pending 2013 sophomore album release.
Since releasing her debut album Waiting in 2010, DeMeo’s songwriting techniques have transformed from a young and innocent perspective into an older and more mature outlook on life and personal trials and tribulations. DeMeo states, “My music is much deeper now. On the new album I am not holding back like on Waiting. Since my last album, I have become more comfortable with myself musically and emotionally.”

On the Soul/Blues-inspired track “Wear You Down”, the latest single from her upcoming sophomore release, DeMeo explains, “The song is about not wanting to force love to happen with someone. The song talks about a relationship that I was in and my thoughts on how love should truly be instead of how it actually was.”
Shortly after writing “Wear You Down” in the Summer of 2011, DeMeo began to slowly excel in live performances in and around the state of Arkansas. After performing for audiences during a small concert tour throughout Oklahoma, DeMeo began to evolve as a top Singer/Songwriter in the area. Soon after, DeMeo would be playing to standing-room only crowds. DeMeo recalls, “The best compliment I ever received was when someone exclaimed ‘Christine, I’ve had your song stuck in my head for days!’ I feel so blessed and fortunate to be able to write songs that so many people love and can relate to.”
