On Feb. 2, 2013, it was announced that singer Simon "Si" Astbury was nominated by Music Express TV Awards for the Best Male Newcomer Award!
To celebrate a phenomenal year, Music Express TV is celebrating together with Music Express Awards (MEA).
Si, who resides in Burton on Trent Staffordshire in the United Kingdom, told Examiner.com how all this began.
"My interest in performing arts began at a very young age. Since the age of six I was actively involved in singing and acting in a variety of productions."
One of Si's most recent events was at the end of 2012 when he performed on television's "Sky Music Express TV Christmas Special." The show was viewed and enjoyed on Christmas Day on Sky Music Channel Showcase 191.
Si had this to say about his nomination.
"I feel priviledged to be nominated for this award amongst some fantastic talented artists, and that is even if I do not win!
Viewers, fans, Music Express with John Paul Productions, Ltd. (JP Productions, Ltd.) have been great in supporting me (meet their team)."
More can be discovered about the event at Music Express TV. They are located in Blackpool. This will be a one hour TV special, celebrating the artists that make this show possible.
