Singer Rihanna has canceled a second concert due to having the flu and laryngitis. This time her Baltimore show has been called off due to her continuing battle with these illnesses. Another show is approaching this week, with ticket holders probably wondering if they'll get to see and hear her perform at the venue.
According to Washington Post, the first concert Rihanna had to cancel was a Sunday show scheduled for Boston. Now she has canceled the Baltimore show. The latest concert tour known as the "Diamonds World Tour" got started on Friday in Buffalo, New York and also features hip hop star A$AP Rocky on the bill.
A statement from Live Nation said "Rihanna is still recovering." Additionally concert promoters have noted that fans "are instructed to retain their tickets pending rescheduling show date information."
The singer tweeted out on her Twitter account on Sunday saying:
"I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes! #DWT"
Rihanna has another concert stop scheduled for this Thursday in Philadelphia, although as of this report it's unknown if she'll be in good health by the time that date arrives. Rihanna's latest album "Unapologetic" is currently at #9 on the Billboard 200 album charts and features the hit song "Diamonds." Her current hit, "Stay" featuring Mikky Ekko ranks at #5 on the Hot 100 U.S. chart.
