Singer Mateo Creates New R&B Genre


A who's who in the urban music market were present for an exclusive listening session for Mateo and his upcoming new EP entitled Love & Stadiums II. The NYC guest list included emcee for the night and infamous Power 105.1 radio DJ, Angie Yee. The producer behind Alicia Keys' hit masterpieces and Mateo's EP Love & Stadiums, Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, was also present.

Mateo previewed a couple songs off his EP on piano, as his smooth as satiable voice carried over the intimate crowd. Alicia Keys is featured on Mateo's lead single, "Say Its So" and was also there in spirit in a tape recorded video that was shown of her congratulating Mateo of all of his successes.

You will be hearing a lot of Mateo in the coming months and year due to his love for a new R&B wave he dubs "Urban Mod".
