British singer Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage after nearly six months of pregnancy, her rep confirmed in a statement Nov. 1, 2010.
Allen, 25, was rushed to hospital Oct. 28 after complaining of stomach pain, but efforts to save her unborn six-month-old baby were unsuccessful. A rep said:
"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply."
SECOND MISCARRIAGE
Lily miscarried back in January 2008 after conceiving with then-boyfriend Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers.
Allen, 25, and Cooper, a 32-year-old painter and decorator, have been dating since July 2009.
FEUD WITH KATY PERRY
Lily, whose weight has fluctuated over the years, confessed she's an emotional eater who binges when she's unhappy.
In 2008, Allen exchanged words with I Kissed a Girl singer Katy Perry, who once described herself as "a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinnier version of Lily Allen."
In response, an annoyed Lily quipped to a British radio station, "It's like, you're not English and you don't write your own songs, so shut up!"
The two have since settled their differences.
