On 10/10/10 people from all over the world will be gathering at the UN and in Belgium for a peaceful rally in support of Tibet. The Sing for Tibet event is designed to "bring together a huge gathering of people for the cause of a free Tibet at two venues - in New York City and Brussels - to tell the world that Tibet is not forgotten." - singfortibet.com/event/.

The peaceful rally has been organized by Tibetan exile Lobsang Wangyal. Mr. Wangyal lives in India and uses his photojournalist and event planning talents and experience to peacefully fight for Tibetan freedom as he respects the Middle-Way Approach proposed by the Dalai Lama - "The Middle-Way Approach is proposed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to peacefully resolve the issue of Tibet and to bring about stability and co-existence between the Tibetan and Chinese peoples based on equality and mutual co-operation" - The Middle Way Approach.

"At the peak of the gathering, around 1 p.m. local time at the respective places, everybody will sing the theme song, written and composed by Tawo Lobsang Palden, and sung by Riga Tawo of Trinkhor, from Germany. We would like to make this the loudest song ever sung. Get The mp3 version and lyrics of the song here: Sing for Tibet: You Are My Brother ."

Mark your calendars for 10/10/10. Add your voice to others around the world as we come together in song. The event is the perfect opportunity for us to show our support through compassion, love, peace, and unity. You can be part of the solution and help end the suffering of the Tibetan people.
