Since the FDA is approving more GMO foods what’s next?

GMO/GM/GE on the rise
With over seventy percent of our food source being GMO how can Americans not be sick with various health symptoms. As the Federal and Drug Administration (FDA) approves more and more Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO), Genetically Modified & Genetically Engineered (GE) foods the increase in sickness in Americans is on the rise.

Our bodies were made for natural substance, not foods populating with foreign materials. Genetically Modified Foods started in the late 1990’s and the FDA has put no restrictions on the companies producing GMO foods to label their foods informing Americans what they are eating is GMO, GM or GE foods.

Meanwhile, consumers in other countries have demanded that their food be labeled with a warning so they can make informed decisions of purchasing at their own risk. Their demands were accepted and the foods are labeled allowing the consumers the right to choose what goes into their bodies. Don’t we have freedom of choice as Americans, to make our own decision of what we put in our bodies?

Who is really responsible for food safety?
As a human being and an American, you do have the right to know what you are purchasing to eat; despite what the FDA and the conglomerate of these cross breeding companies think. The FDA and biotech company both point fingers at each other stating that it’s the FDA’s job is to inform us, of what’s in our food.

The FDA thinks since the biotech companies create whatever food they should inform the consumer of what’s in their food. End result is that no one wants to take responsibility for these hazardous foods on the supermarket shelves for purchase.

Both entities are out to push whatever food products to the market just to make money and care nothing for the consumer. Let’s look at the reality of the GMO situation it is a form of control by not informing people what they are purchasing. With approvals of GMO’s happening more frequently it would seem like the FDA is hiding something? Not allowing Americans to know the serious health risk of GMO/GM/GE foods is not excising safety precautions.

Instead it’s indirectly using them as guinea pigs for experiments of what lies ahead. Wake up Americans! Don’t think that cloning is not too far ahead when fish, salmon to be exact is waiting for final approval from the FDA as being a GM fish or better known as “Franken fish”.

Huge risk to infants and babies
Salmon is one of the recommended fish for expectant mothers and nursing to eat because it’s low in mercury, and rich omega 3 fatty acids. Do you think this Franken salmon will be safe for pregnant moms to eat and nursing moms? The answer is absolutely not!

These biotech giants have even gotten their hands on baby formula. No wonder why little babies have allergies and breathing issues so early in life. Their little bodies need to build their immune system up; not broken down. It takes time for their little bodies to build a tolerance to environment and food.

Risk to eating GMO food
Some independent scientist studies have found that toxic, allergic reaction, immune suppression, infertility and other serious illness are caused by GM foods. Testing of GMO/GM/GE foods that have been performed on animals has been proven to cause tumors and cancers. Do you feel sick? Or have an allergic reaction certain foods? This can likely be caused by the GMO foods you have consumed throughout the years.

Meet the giants of biotech
Monsanto, Syngenta, Dow Agrosciences, BASF, Bayer and Pioneer (DuPont). Aquabounty Technologies is one of newest GMO companies and their specialty is Franken fish. They have put over sixty-five million dollars in producing Franken salmon so they await the FDA’s final approval so they can move to market. The approval unfortunately is very much on its way since the FDA lets the biotech companies determine what’s safe and what’s not.

Monsanto is one of the biggest producers of the corn seed for GMO foods. They continuously take farmers to court that are opposed to their GMO corn seed and somehow always win putting farmers out of business because they owe them money for not wanting to poison us. Monsanto has spent over four million to stop labeling of GM food so the consumer doesn’t have to know what they are purchasing.

Examples of recent GMO/GM/GE foods
GMO sweet corn being sold at a Wal-Mart near you and undetected as it’s not being labeled that it is Franken corn/GM corn. This corn is laced with toxins that are used to keep pesticide away from the corn. These toxins are proven to cause cancer.
GMO salmon also known as Franken fish is a cross breed of pacific Chinook salmon with an eel type of fish called ocean pout. When produced it is three times the size of a normal two ounce salmon fish.

What you can do regarding food safety
If you are opposed to GMO/GM/GE foods taking over your supermarket shelves and freezers with no warning or proper labeling. First educate yourself on the determent of GMO, GM and GE foods. Start by protecting yourself and your family by going to this site so you can know how to shop safely.

You can go to www.nongmoshoppingguide.com this site will let you know which foods are safe and non GMO/GM/GE. Also go to www.responsibletechnology.org which has a petition informing Congress that you need them to make sure GMO/GM/GE foods are labeled so you the consumer can make informed choices of what you’re purchasing and putting in your body.
