Since the release of the book “Aurora”, Judge Sylvester, the judge in the Aurora theater shooting case, released Mar. 13, 2013 that the TV networks and other media outlets had upped their demands and had petitioned (pdf) the court to specifically unseal the “probable cause in support of arrest” and search warrants. This motion was filed Jan. 16, 2013 but kept hidden until now.
Since the release of the “Aurora” book, there isn't any reason to hide the “support of arrest” and the search warrants anymore. The book explains step by step James Holmes' actions and why James Holmes was moved shortly after arrest to the infirmary and not into a padded cell. Had James Holmes been put in a padded cell he wouldn't have been able to bang his head and been sent to the hospital where he was restrained. However they wouldn't have had the incontrovertible evidence of James Holmes' condition which led them to try to protect the defense from James Holmes.
