Simultaneous success for Canada on Friday

According to CBC Sports, Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars scored the game winning goal for Canada in their semi-final victory over the United States in men's hockey at the same minute on Friday that Charle Cournoyer of Boucherville, Quebec crossed the finish line in the men's 500m short track speed skating event to win his Olympic bronze medal.

The fact that these two events existed simultaneously was mathematically remarkable, and it just goes to show how much more exciting the Olympic Winter Games are by watching it on television than being in attendance.
