The trailer includes a variety of memes like: The Overly Attached Girlfriend, Lazy Senior, College Freshman and Ermagherd Girl cameos. According to AdWeek, it has been bringing in positive feedback around the web.
Electronic Arts is doing an excellent job using these popular memes to capture the attention of their target audience. According to a press release, The Sims sold over 150 million units and have about 30 million fans across global social networks. In the game, it will introduce players to an all-new college world for those adventuring into higher education. The Sims 3 University Life will allow Sims to attend classes, prepare for exams, meet new friends and join a variety of social groups.
