Simply Streisand...Back to Broadway takes the stage

Carla DelVillaggio is Simply Streisand in her stage performance depicting the incomparable Barbra Streisand. From Streisand's witty antics to her seasoned eloquence Carla captures the essence of one of the most commercially and critically successful artists in entertainment history. This Saturday night, February 4, 2012, she'll perform with the Hello Gorgeous Band at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center.

As a professional performer Carla has more than 25 years worth of experience. The majority of her career was spent as a classically trained opera singer. By 2006, Carla began to take the many comments she received from family, friends and strangers that her speech, mannerisms and looks gave her a distinct resemblance to Streisand. She unveiled her premiere performance at the “Sunburst Convention for Look-Alikes and Celebrity Impersonators” in Orlando, Florida in September 2006 to an overwhelming response.

In “Simply Streisand...Back to Broadway” Carla will transform into Streisand and transcend time as she brings to life famous stage performances from West Side Story, Hello Dolly, South Pacific, Carousel, Into the Woods, Funny Girl and more.
