Enjoy chili in no time with items from your pantry and in less than thirty minutes treat your palette to a spicy sensation. This is a simple recipe with few ingredients, yet it delivers a brawny and tasty chili. For this recipe, canned beans and tomatoes make it a quick fix. However, if time affords feel free to use fresh beans and tomatoes.
2 cans (14 oz) pinto beans
1 can (28 oz) of plum tomatoes
1 Tbsp cumin
2 Tbsp ancho chili pepper
1 jalapeno pepper (add more or less depending upon individual heat preference)
Pour beans and tomatoes in medium-sized pan. Cut tomatoes into pieces. Stir. Add cumin and ancho chili pepper. Cut jalapeno pepper in small pieces and add to mix. Stir mixture at medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Turn heat to low for 5 minutes.
Enjoy chili alone or add sour cream or your favorite crackers.
