The time has come. It is time to name and announce your New Year’s Resolutions. Everyone swears each year they will stick to them, unlike the previous year. According to Wicked Local on Dec. 19, 2013, they claim they have the answer to sticking to your new goals once and for all.
The first tip seems like a no-brainer; however, many miss it completely. If you do not like getting up in the morning, do not take a 6 am yoga class. Instead get your morning sleep, and take an evening or late evening yoga class. You will never stick with the new exercise morning routine if you do not like exercising in the morning.
Another important tip is if you do not like something, don’t do it. Running is a great cardio exercise; however, if you hate running, why do it. There are plenty of other cardio exercises, like kickboxing. You will be miserable for the 45 minutes you run, and likely will not push yourself as hard as you would with an exercise you thoroughly enjoy.
Lastly, lay off Google. Once you find the right program for you, don’t over research. You will likely over think it, and talk yourself out the program. Keep things simple. To add fitness and a good eating plan in your life just move more, be consistent, be intense in your exercise, and eat natural whole products. It really is that simple.
What are your New Year’s Resolutions? Did you keep last year’s goals?
