We live in an urban city area period. Sensitive skin or any skin is effected by city living so I learned when I attended at Simple Skin care summit launching the #KindToCitySkin campaign. If you have never tried Simple this is perfect time to get to know the brand while the campaign hits your town .
Starting this week from NYC to LA women can get personal tips from the Simple Advisory Board
Events kicked Monday May 12th in Times Square, New Yorkers were invited to stop by the “Simple® Skincare Oasis” consumer event from 11am – 6pm EST to receive free Simple products, participate in good-for-skin activities and meet our Simple Advisory Board members (Dr. Debra Luftman, Dr. Josie Howard, Gita Bass, Ellie Krieger and Kacy Duke), who will be on hand to provide personalized advice on how to adopt a holistic approach to skincare.
Over the course of May, June and July, Simple will be hosting interactive events in seven additional cities
Researchers at Simple skincare found that women in the top 40 cities nationwide don’t realize the wear & tear their everyday lifestyle may be having on the health and appearance of their skin.
In Times Square visitors can look up and see video on How Does City Life Effect Skin in just 14 days!
At the summit Simple Skincare Advisory Board moderated by TV host Sara Gore (Dr. Debra Luftman, Dr. Josie Howard, Gita Bass, Ellie Krieger and Kacy Duke), discussed the latest finding from women's holistic skincare nationwide:
A surprising survey that takes a look at holistic skincare habits of women across the top U.S. cities and reveals that while nearly 9 in 10 women describe their skincare habits as “healthy,” their actual behaviors (captured in the attached infographic) show there is room for improvement; some highlights:
A Surprising Cleansing Calendar – More than a quarter of women report that the longest they’ve gone without washing their face is at least two days
Being Attentive to the Elements – 59% of women are not actively trying to protect skin from environmental elements such as the sun or wind
The (Skin) Effects of Stress – 63% know that their stress level affects the health of their skin, yet more than 53% are not actively trying to reduce it right now
