Ok, so mine is coffee. I like it sweet and creamy. I love the designer flavors of creamers, but have you ever read the ingredient list? Go back to real cream and real sugar (try brown sugar) and eliminate all those chemicals. Use milk, almond milk, or dry powdered milk; but get back to the 'real'!
It's not an all in one day change. If you consume gallons of pop/soda/cola/juice/or beer, slow down; dilute juices a smidgen for less 'sweet'; and more for your money is always better.
The things to change really depend on your eating habits. If you don't drink coffee or pop, fantastic! So what is your food demon, your over-indulgence? Learn to make it less disastrous to your health and weight, and watch the pounds slowly come off.
- Salad Dressings
- Healthy Salt vs common table salt. Healthy salt doesn't cause inflammation. You need salt, make it a healthy one.
- Coffee Creamers
- Healthy Fats ( coconut, olive, flax, hemp, almond, sunflower)
- Butter not margarine!
- eat more veggies, preferably raw!
- Cook at home more
- Whole grains
- use more Vinegar (make your own salad dressings, cucumbers and vinegar)
They say, "if it has more than 5 ingredients, don't eat it!"; start reading labels! It's a big help to see the garbage they put in processed food. Those chemicals are building up and holding weight on you. Get back to basic foods.
