News is out and Simon Cowell is officially leaving the USA version of "The X Factor." On Feb. 7, Wet Paint shared the news about him leaving and it is so that he can focus on the UK version of the series. It will be surprising to see if the show even goes on without him.

As of right now "The X Factor" hasn't even been picked up for another season in the USA. They wanted him to fly back and forth doing both shows, but he is turning down that idea. It is probably because he has a baby on the way and will be really busy too.

It sounds like there is a good chance that "The X Factor" might not even come back to the USA at all. The ratings were not very high. Demi Lovato already revealed that she is not coming back. Without Simon Cowell, it will be really surprising if they decide to even keep the show going at all. It just won't be the same without him.

Update: Later in the day they decided the show should be canceled all together.
