Simon Cowell is now a proud father. He and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman introduced baby Eric on Valentine’s Day, according to a Feb. 16 New York Daily News report.

Cowell and Silverman brought their new bundle of joy home from Lenox Hill Hospital on Sunday. It didn’t take paparazzi long to catch up the happy couple.

The stern and sharp-tongued “X Factor” gushed about his son on Twitter. He’s already been busy tweeting pictures of his two-day old son, Eric Cowell.

Cowell shared black and white photos of him holding his son. In one of the photos, the former “American Idol” judge is seen caressing his baby’s head.

Eric Cowell was born at 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 14. He is reportedly weighed in at 6 pounds.

The baby was reportedly carried out by his proud father and a hospital staffer in scrubs. The two were followed by Lauren, her dad, Steven and stepmother, Rosy Davis.

A friend close to Simon Cowell told The News that he plans to spend the next few weeks with his son at his Upper East Side apartment.
