If you love flowers and are interested in floral arrangements, you must be keeping an eye on various flower decorations on the internet market. The market of floral decorations is pretty big and there are uncountable number of florists and floral designers engaged in floral business in the United States. Since you love flowers and have interest in floral arranging, you may be planning to earn the skill of floral decorations.
One thing I would like to tell you is that many of floral arrangements introduced and sold in the flower market are almost same or similar in their designs. Suppose you visit a website selling Thanksgiving flowers in November and make another visit of similar site selling Christmas flower arrangements, you may find what kind of difference exists between both designs.

If you pay attention to the sales promotion of flower designs for each holiday or event, you may recognize that many sites of floral shop just put different titles and descriptions for each arrangement with simple or minor change in the selection of type of flowers and sometimes choice of flower colors.
This means that there are lots of possibilities you can use similar design (design of form and structure) repeatedly for different events one after another especially for popular type of arrangements such as bouquets and regular centerpiece decorations. Again this is regarding the majority of popular floral arrangements sold on the internet and you should not apply the same way of idea for wedding or funeral decorations.
As seen from the above, once you have earned practical skills of floral designing, you can apply the same type of designing concept and actual decorations for various types of events and occasions. We have so many holidays in the United States, local and nationwide as well as religious and historical ones that are coming one after another throughout the year. For each holiday and event, you can offer similar arrangements with a little bit minor change or modification on the selection of color or type of flowers. The same can be said between birthday floral gift, congratulations on brand new baby, celebrating graduation from a school etc etc.
That is why I say repeatedly that learning and earning basic flower arranging skills is so important and you should not skip this very important step if you are planning to make floral arrangements for the rest of your life no matter whether it is for business or hobby. In this sense you should not hesitate to make small amount of investment for learning floral arrangements by taking lessons from a reliable and experienced flower arranging instructor.
Again the flower arrangements for weddings and funerals as well as easel mounted decorations and large scale corporate arrangements require totally different nature of designs. Therefore special training may be badly required in addition to regular flower arranging trainings if you are planning to be deeply involved in floral decoration business in the United States.
