Stall Paint Horse has a most unusual Thoroughbred horse in the barn. He is, what you might say, a horse of a different color – this two-year-old is mostly unique in the world of Thoroughbreds and definitely rare. He goes by the name of Silvery Moon and always gets a second or third look wherever he goes.
Silvery Moon is in training with Mario Hofer. The colt has been on a racetrack two times – once in France and once in Germany. His second race put him into the money when he finished second by a neck in a maiden race in Germany.
This two-year-old Silvery Moon is a rare overo Thoroughbred. He was purchased by owner Stall Paint Horse at the 2012 Arqana Autumn sale last November for €12,000. Stall Paint Horse enjoys Silvery Moon’s unique markings and had silks made to match.
Silvery Moon is by I Was Framed, out of Artzola, by Alzao. I Was Framed is by Racey Remarque. This 11-year-old stallion stands in France and carries dual registrations with the Jockey Club and the American Paint Horse Association.
