Silvmerman Triathlon Results: Female Winner, Amy Bottenberg
The Silverman Iron Distance Triathlon:
First female place winner, Amy Bottenberg #26 from Reno, NV won with an unofficial time of 11 hours 30 minutes.
Looking healthy and vibrant after the race, spectators commented Bottenberg looked like she could have ran the Ironman a second time right after crossing the finish line. When asked if she would compete again in the Silverman again, Bottenberg, whose husband was a volunteer physician for the athletes, she enthusiastically said, 'Yes!'
The Silverman Iron Distance Triathlon was held, Sunday, November 8th, 2009, in Henderson, NV.
