The Drowsy Chaperone is essentially a show within a show. The narrator, known as Man in Chair, is a Broadway fanatic who takes his guests on an adventure through his favorite but relatively obscure musical cast recording. What unfolds is a musical explosion featuring love, comedy, and, yes, even a drowsy chaperone. Don't forget the witty comments and personal notes from the Man in Chair as well.
Bob Martin and Don McKellar created the book for The Drowsy Chaperone while Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison created the music and lyrics.
Following The Drowsy Chaperone, Silver Creek High School will present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. That production will take place on April.
