Silver Circle is a feature-length animated movie from Two Lanterns Media that's set in our world after massive economic collapse. The Federal Reserve uses the crisis as a power grab, while a band of rebels lead by the tenacious Zoe Taylor stand in their way. It's a story of tyranny, explosions, car chases, romance, and even a little economics. It's a dark vision with a bright prognosis, thanks to a guerrilla currency based on silver.
The must anticipated film has been over three years in the making, releasing the occasional clips and rough cuts for the die hard fans. Few films have a cult following before they've even been released, but that's how netroots work, and it's the way forward. Now the film is finally read for its release.
The film tour combines both theater runs in major cities, and special screening events around the country. It will include Q&As with familiar "celebritarian" panelists, "Rebel Crew" swag giveaways, musical performances and film-themed after parties.
It begins Friday, March 22 in New York. Silver Circle will be showing at the Cinema Village from March 22 to the 28th with showtimes at 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 7:10pm and 9:30pm.
Opening night legendary economist and enemy of Fed, Peter Schiff will be heading a post-show Q&A panel after the 7:10pm show, and giving an introduction before the 9:15 show.
I highly recommend buying tickets now if you want to see Peter Schiff. They'll go fast. Reserve your seat here. But even if you don't buy tickets, there are opportunities to buy them by participating in their Social Media Raffle. Win raffle tickets by sharing the event on Twitter and Facebook. The more you share the more opportunities you have to win.
