The haute couture luxurious French brand, Hermès has launched an all new app called Silk Knots that takes scarves and knot tying to a whole new level.
Since 1937, the squares of silk have become the French fashion house’s most iconic piece and an accessory that is loved by women worldwide. Whether you prefer a simple print or a bolder print like a tribal print or even a NYC inspired graffiti print Hermès has over 2000 patterns to choose from. Each Hermès scarf is made of the highest quality of the purest silk available and each color is screen printed individually by hand allowing it to dry before adding another color to avoid any running of the colors. Two collections are released each year along with limited edition scarves and reprints of older scarves. No wonder an app is needed!
The Silk Knots app is a very user friendly app that gives you two options to learn how to tie Hermès scarves, knotting films or knotting cards. Knotting films show you a real person going through the steps to create a look with your Hermès scarf like a backless dress or turban. If you choose the knotting cards you'll have more options to choose from like the scarf top, an asymmetrical drape and even a twilly necklace.
For fun you can click through album and see the beautiful works of art that are Hermès scarves or the collection highlights for gorgeous views of Hermès latest collection that includes KY fitting Les Courses scarf and the pop artesque Marcelina with it's bold and bright colors.
Hermès scarves range from $320 for a 70cm scarf up to $820 for a 140 cm scarf and can be purchased online at Hermès Paris but luckily this app is free for iPhone and iPad and will work just as well with any other scarves you may have in your wardrobe. If you don't own any scarves...what are you waiting for? Now is the perfect time to add a few to your wardrobe and work some Hermès magic on them.
