The community is invited to attend this interactive event planned by Jenny Vonderwerth and the Silicon Valley Women in HR and Friends.
Join us for this interactive presentation to expand your understanding about how LinkedIn can work for you. You can use this information for your own job search, build your reputation as an industry thought leader, or recruit new talent to your organization.
Learn how to use LinkedIn to get maximum information on new openings with a minimum amount effort. Learn how to find people within your targeted companies and how to organize your network. Finally we will show you how to use Linkedin groups to expanding your professional network to get insider information on prospective job openings and stay on top of industry trends.
To get the most out of this presentation please have created a basic profile before coming to class. This program is best suited for people who have at least a very basic understanding of LinkedIn and are ready to get the most out of the tool.
Jenny Kahn, PHR, is a Career Consultant, a Sr. Technical Recruiter and featured guest speaker throughout the SF Bay Area. She has worked in the fields of Aerospace, Semiconductors, Pharmaceuticals, Commercial Real Estate and Medical Devices. She earned her Professional in Human Resource certification in 2000. She is a member of C-Six, Silicon Valley Women in HR, Phase2Careers, and is a trainer for the Employment Training Network for the California Employment Development Department.

Cost: There is no admission fee, but a donation is welcome.
Bring: Come with your resume, business cards, any job leads that you have to share and a desire to enjoy the evening with this phenomenal group that we are fortunate to know as colleagues! If you'd like to bring a snack to share, that'd be nice but it is not mandatory.
