About the author:
Author Otis Ritch is a wild Choctaw Indian from the Mudlark bottoms in Stigler, Oklahoma. As a child he grew up in the desert Southwest, in and around the Casa Grande Valley in Arizona. As an adult he has traveled over half of the states in the United States working as a field hand, ginned cotton, worked cattle, worked on a core recovery drill rig, fry cook, service station attendant, pipe line construction, welded bridges, welding shop foreman, plowed land, irrigated crops, foreman on two farms, played music at honkytonks, sold everything from grand pianos to grandfather clocks, taught meditation classes, owned stores, etc. He also became a master boot maker and leather artist.
Author Otis Ritch loves to write books that teach truth, beauty, and goodness, as well as to entertain my readers. I truly believe that little children are the future of the world and that they will be the ones who will eventually bring harmony to our world.
He currently lives in Texas -- you know, that little suburb of Oklahoma just south of the Red River. Texas is the original home of tall tales and long winded people so he feels right at home here.
In writing the series of Johnny SkyHawk spiritual adventure books it was not the author’s intention to answer any of life’s questions for anyone, nor to answer any religious questions. In fact the author’s books have nothing to do with religion or religious doctrine. Rather, it was the author’s intention to write a story that would include things that would raise questions about life in the readers mind. If reading my book causes anyone to start a quest for higher truth and to seek out a better personal relationship with the Great Spirit then the author has succeeded. After all, if life--intelligent life, has any meaning it must be found on a spiritual path.
About the Book:
In this 3rd book in the Johnny SkyHawk series Johnny must leave his pregnant wife Lena at home in Oklahoma while he goes to Alaska to track down a hired killer who has kidnapped the son of an ambassador who’s vote is important in making a decision for the United Nations about a war situation. His vote could mean the difference of peace or another world war. The kidnapper is working for a group that wants war so they can gain power and money. The kidnapper is a bush man and has taken the boy to the bush country. Johnny is helping an F.B.I. agent track him down. In the process Johnny must use his mind to project love and white light to a grizzly bear so it will leave peaceably and not kill the agent. As in the first two books in this series different things will happen at different times that will trigger a memory of some spiritual truth that his grandfather taught him when he was a small boy. While Johnny is involved in this adventure Lena is having an adventure of her own as she visit’s the wolves and has to doctor the large male leader of the pack. He had been clawed badly by a panther and she applies medicine and bandages it for him.
