Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is the sequel to Silent Hill and while it is a horror film, it actually is fun, in a sick way, to see all of this in 3D.
Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) is a teen who, along with her father, Harry, Sean Bean, have lived her entire life trying to outrun her nightmares and the reality blur therein.
In this last school she attends, she meets Vincent (Kit Harington), for whom she actually allows a friendship. In fact, when Harry walks away forever, he knows that he is leaving his daughter in his friendship.
He understands Heather and her special situation.
The setup is pretty smart. Heather has horrible nightmares, that are pulling her in and threatening to keep her.
Harry: Hey, remember the rules.
Harry: Vincent, look after my little girl, ya hear?
Heather: Do you feel nothing?
Heather: Hi, I'm Heather. I'm new. I just moved to town, so.
Heather: No difference between fantasy and reality.
Heather: Vincent, you're nice. But, I don't think you wanna know me.
Vincent: I'm gonna call you later.
