Junior Rangers explore North Cheyenne Canon Park

The Starsmore Discovery Center offers a Junior Ranger Base Camp for 7 to 12 year olds during Spring Break. Spring break is a great time for your junior ranger to gain the knowledge and tools to discover the trees, rocks and wild animals of North Cheyenne Cañon Park.   This park is known for its towering evergreens, wildflowers, stunning rock formations, hiking paths, wildlife, and beautiful waterfalls.

Each camper receives a Junior Ranger Booklet, pencil, certificate, and colorful patch.

Date:   Tuesday, March 23 - Thursday, March 25

Time:    9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Space:  Limited to 24 students.

Donation:  $65.00 per child; $55 Military or Friends of Cheyenne Cañon Member

How do you register your child for Junior Ranger Base Camp?

1. Fill out registration form. May be printed off website:  www.cheyennecanon.org

2. Or, Bring in to Starsmore Discovery Center, 2120 S. Cheyenne Canon Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.

3. Make checks payable to Friends of Cheyenne Canon.

4. Visa and MasterCard are accepted over the phone at Starsmore: 719-385-6086.
