Are you looking for a fun weekend event this summer? Check out Back on My Feet's 20 in 24 which offers a variety of events throughout the weekend of July 16th and 17th!
The headline event is the sold out Lone Ranger Ultra Marathon, where participants do as many miles as they can in 24 hours.
The Midnight Madness Run, where participants get decked out in reflective gear, glow lights, bracelets and necklaces and even Christmas lights, is held at midnight on Saturday night. It is one 8.4 mile loop. Join the fun! Local resident Allison Mellet participated in last year's Midnight Madness and said "I loved the race, it was my first step towards a half marathon and the enthusiasm of the volunteers and the excitement of the midnight run was amazing. It was just a great thing to be a part of and I am so proud to have participated."
The Pajama Loop is for early birds who can hop out of bed and head over to complete one loop at 6am on Sunday morning.
Consider participating in both Midnight Madness and the Pajama Loop for the ultimate challenge!
Both Midnight Madness and the Pajama Loop offer $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place and $100 for third place.
There is a price increase for all events on April 1st, so sign up now!
20 in 24 is sponsored by Back on My Feet, an organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of the homeless by getting them out and running and offering incentives to help them to get back into the job force.
