Fall classes are coming up quickly at South Shore Conservatory, but it is not too late to sign up! Instill a child’s love of music and the arts early with a large variety of programs offered through South Shore Creative Seeds. The SS Creative Seeds program is for infant through age nine built to introduce musical instruments, singing, dancing, theatrical play, and exercise into a child’s daily life. South Shore Conservatory is located at four convenient Massachusetts locations in Duxbury, Scituate, Hingham, and Cohasset. Fall registration is open and classes will begin the week of September 16. Kids will learn rhythm and about music instruments through classes such as “Music Together” for infant through four years old and a new interactive music class called “Music Sprouts” for ages three to five years old.
Children will learn rhythm and fun activities through “Drum and Sing" for ages four through six. Learn guitar with “Group Guitar” classes for ages seven through nine as well as take private piano lessons with “Piano Fundamentals” for ages five through nine.
Several dance and movement classes are available such as “Move and Groove Music Therapy” for ages four through 11, “Create, Point, and Flex” for ages three through six, “Hip-Hop for Boys” ages four through six, “Girls Groove” for ages four through seven, and several ballet classes offered by the Jose Matteo Ballet Theatre for ages three through nine. Children also learn about singing and theatre through “Curtain Up” for ages four through six, “From the Page to the Stage” and “Primo Voice Class” for ages seven through nine.
