Sign of the times: bin Laden-killing SEAL is unemployed

We are actually living in the worst economy in the last fifty years, that has been made much worse in the last four years thanks to the ignorant economic policies of one Barack Hussein Obama, and a true hero of the war against terrorism, the SEAL team six member that actually shot and killed Osama bid Laden, finds himself unemployed. This is truly a sign of the times, an indication of just how bad our economy is, and also a real indication of how little this president cares about improving the economy or insuring that retiring military heroes who come back from service are assured of being able to make it when they get back here in the United States. I have no reason to believe he's looking for a handout, he just wants what most of us want, to be able to have opportunity to make it in this economy.

In the last four years this president has done everything he could, it seems, to punish the successful and tax more out of those who would otherwise be using that money to create jobs. And he's done more to create the very kind of economic uncertainty that prevents employers from creating jobs. Just at the time when it would sent a message of certainty to business wanting to hire and create jobs by making all the Bush tax rates permanent, Obama negotiated a deal with leaders in Congress to extend the tax rates for two years. Since businesses don't make hiring decisions just for two years, that did little to encourage job creation. And then this past year, Obama insisted on his class warfare divide and conquer politics of only extending the tax rates to those making less than $250,000 per year. Those making more than that, in most instances, are owners of small and medium sized businesses that create most of the jobs in this economy. By insisting on punishing them with higher taxes, Obama all but assured that this so-called recovery will indefinitely remain a jobless recovery. That means no jobs available for people coming home from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, including the shooter that killed bin Laden.

This president has taken trillions of dollars out of the private sector to spend on wasteful and failed stimulus bills when, if that money had remained in the private sector instead, could have created millions of private sector and well-paying jobs. But this president is entirely ignorant of economics, he was schooled in Marxist economics and still thinks government creates all and nothing economically occurs without government making it happen. Remember, this is the same president who said last summer on the campaign trail, “if you have a business, you didn't build that.”

The end result of this economically ignorant policy of President Obama is the tens of millions who remain unemployed and under-employed. The economy contracting by a ten of a percent in the fourth quarter of last year only further indicates that the so-called recovery has sputtered and Obama's policies have lead us again to recession. He can't blame this on George W. Bush. Now if the second term Obama wants to now blame this on his predecessor, he would be right, because that would be the first term Obama that got us into this mess we are now in. Obama's policies failed to create a robust recovery and clearly thwarted the economy's effort to recover, while those policies have also failed to create jobs and they've failed us in general. They've also failed the shooter of Osama bin Laden, because months after retiring from his service to this country, he remains unemployed. That's a disgrace and the blame for it falls to this president.
