Sierra Nevada lovers, rejoice. Inside Scoop SF has reported that the popular Chico brewery looks to expand into the Berkeley area.
It won't be a brewery, but it will be a tasting room of sorts, offering specialty and limited beers.
The tap room will be on Fourth street, near University. It won't offer food, and there will be limited seating, but it should open sometime this year.

Personally, I can't wait. Having a Sierra Nevada location nearer to the Bay Area will hopefully increase the already growing support for craft beer.
