Sierra Designs to debut insulated apparel collection at Outdoor Retailer WM

Last year, Sierra Designs introduced DriDown™ hydrophobic down in their sleeping bags and jackets. For Fall 2013, expect to see a collection of focused high-performance apparel insulated with DriDown™ to take you from downtown to waaaaaaay out of town.

The DriDown™ apparel includes the Super Stratus jacket, Cirro Collection, and 28⁰ North jacket. Each piece is designed for specific environments:

Super Stratus Jacket ($279): Stuffed with 160-grams of 800-fill DriDown™, this compressible, light-weight portable cocoon, is the warmest backcountry piece in the line. It has a drop hood design with drop-tail hem and will keep you warm and dry in heavy snowstorms. Available in men’s and women’s styles.

Cirro Jacket ($199): Insulated with 75 grams of 600-fill -grams of DriDown™ in the body and tops of the sleeves, this lightweight hybrid piece is designed for active winter use. A stretch knit gusset on the sides and under the arms increases comfort and mobility. The Cirro series also includes the women’s skirt ($99) and women’s vest ($149).

28⁰ North Jacket ($259): Inspired by vintage designs, this 600-fill DriDown™ has a 40D nylon shell and interior Lycra cuffs with thumbholes to keep hands warm and protected. Good for après ski or around town. Available in men’s and women’s styles.

All three designs will be available at retail in Fall 2013. Sorry ladies. No down bra’s this year.
