Sierra-at-Tahoe offers snow deal

How is this for a way to save on the price of a lift ticket: when it snows, you get money off. Steve Hemphill, PR at Sierra-at-Tahoe, said in a press release on January 5 that Sierra is offering that snow deal.

Here it is:

With snow in the forecast and snow showers possible throughout the week, Sierra-at-Tahoe is celebrating the predicted snow and offering guests more than one way to save. Skiers and boarders can enjoy great deals from lift tickets to lessons.

“We are excited to see snow in the forecast and want to give everyone a chance to enjoy winter at Sierra-at-Tahoe,” said Sierra Resort™, General Manager, John Rice. “There is still a lot of season left, and we are optimistic that Mother Nature is going to stick around and deliver the winter everyone in Lake Tahoe has been expecting.”

"Winter is ready to return and Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort is celebrating the return of winter with an unbeatable online lift ticket deal. Every inch of snow that falls equals a dollar of savings. Upon the next snow event, Sierra Resort will take the twenty-four hour storm total and give guests a dollar off for every inch on a full-day lift ticket, the following day. The more it snows, the more you save. Grab your ticket online the day after the storm," according to Hemphill.

In addition to that, with the San Francisco 49ers football team progressing in the playoffs, the resort is offering another pretty sweet deal.

"The closest major resort to San Francisco, California, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort is celebrating the success of the San Francisco 49ers football team by offering the ultimate value with $49 lift tickets, offered online through Liftopia, for each playoff win. Tickets are limited, so once the “fat-lady” sings grab your ticket online."

Root, root, root for the 49ers, and get a great deal on the lift ticket.

Keep in mind that January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, and Sierra is offering $100 off private lessons, Tuesdays through Thursdays. That's in addition to their $45 Learn to Ski and Ride online special. Included in the Learn to Ski and Ride package are a 2.5-hour lesson, rentals, and limited lift ticket.

It is time to ramp up the intensity of the snow dances. More snow means more savings. So does a winning 49er football team.
