Sidney Randall likely murdered, but where is her body?

Missing teen Sidney Randall has been missing for several days and the man who kidnapped her committed suicide. Now officials are left with no answers as they use cadaver dogs to search for the Arkansas girl. With it being nearly one week since she was last seen, it's hard to imagine that a positive outcome is in sight for the loved ones of this missing teen. The last definitive updates in her case were on March 14, 2012, and as Friday begins it's probably safe to say that nothing has changed. This might no longer be the search for a missing endangered teen, but a recovery mission in search of remains.

This Arkansas news source shared the latest update in the search for Randall (also reported as Sidney Randell), revealing that search teams have expanded into Lawrence County from the area in Walnut Ridge where she was last seen. Officials have also been searching area around where her kidnapper, and stepfather, John Cornell committed suicide. Landowners have also been encouraged to help in the search by checking their own property for signs of evidence. It should also be noted that resisting police searches in times like this, and requiring warrants, only slows down the search for this teenage girl -- who could very well be clinging to life in hopes of a to-the-minute rescue. Though that scenario doesn't necessarily seem likely at this point.

So where could this teenage girl's remains be located? It's reported that John Cornell enjoyed camping and the great outdoors, which means she could be anywhere he would feel safe. Local bodies of water should be searched as well in hopes of uncovering clues. With allegations circulating that John Cornell was molesting the 14-year-old girl, it's being speculated that he might have killed her to keep her from telling on him.

This is just a horrifying situation, and the mother of Sidney Randall is worried sick -- though there are questions regarding whether or not she sensed any abuse going on under her roof. If Sidney's own father knew that Cornell was abusing her, why wouldn't the mother? And if she did know about this why didn't she put a stop to it?
