Premier figure designers Sideshow Collectibles released more images, and pre-order details on their highly anticipated Nathan Drake premium format figure this past Tuesday. After being announced earlier this month, more information has emerged on the meticulously crafted, highly collectible piece. The statue of Nathan Drake, as he appears in the third installment of the Playstation exclusive series Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception features detailed fabric clothing, with simulated leather holsters and harnesses and a 9 MM pistol. An Exclusive version also comes with an additional interchangeable hand armed with a ‘KAL 7’ rifle.
Both figures are priced at a steep $349.99, putting it within range of Sideshow’s other premium collectibles, including replicas of properties from Star Wars, and Marvel and DC Comics. The Exclusive version of the Premium Format Figure will be available for pre-order tomorrow, January 31, through the weekly Sideshow Newsletter, sometime between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. (PST).
While a bit pricey, this figure is a must have for any diehard Uncharted fan, and makes an excellent addition to any collection. With such an impressive level of detail, and even more impressive asking price, however, one might be hesitant to take Drake on any adventures any time soon.
